Beep Talk & Sound event with Alenka's presentation was a big success!
The Beep Institute organized the Beep Talk & Sound event at Triglav Lab on June 16, 2022, a business educational experience where the focus is on education and the transfer of knowledge and good practices in the field of people’s potential development and sustainable societies.
The event once again offered exceptional speakers, musicians and cuisine. The topics of this year’s Beep Talk were fear, anxiety, movement, extreme experiences, nautical, the influence of architecture and human development.
The event hosted many speakers, such as Alenka Kragelj Eržen, director and leading architect at KRAGELJ | Green Architecture | Workplace Design | Interior Design |, Melanie Seier Larsen, long-time successful manager and prominent Portuguese neuroscientist and researcher of brain stimulation techniques, Dr. Bruno Ribeiro.
In her lecture, Alenka presented how an architect can influence users through space in various aspects of life, both personally and professionally. Especially when designing a workplace, he can affect a huge number of people.
She pointed out that spaces play an important role in the way of communication and establishing relationships. Through the integrated design of the space (organization of the space, colors, materials), we influence whether a random meeting will turn into a conversation, whether a planned meeting can be productive, whether creativity can flow and how a difficult conversation will be conducted. Space is also a basic tool when we want to enforce changes in the company – changes in the company, changes in processes, business culture and thinking.
