Description
WDC20 presentation of the results of a 2020 national survey on the efficiency of workspaces and the impact of Covid measures on employee satisfaction, productivity and business performance. The first of its kind in Slovenia, the survey was conducted in August – September 2020 and provided us with a clear picture of the state of the workplace in Slovenia, and what organizations can do to support the wellbeing and performance of their people.
The survey questions explored a range of factors associated with employee performance and experience, including the work location, physical environment and technology as well as work focus, communication and social connections. These new insights are highly valuable for adapting the workplace to the world after the covid measures and developing strategies for a smooth and efficient transition to future ways of working.
This independent research was conducted by Kragelj Architects and Workplace Unlimited under the guidance and supervision of dr. Nigel Oseland, a workplace strategist, environmental psychologist and change manager who understands the human experience, specifically what sort of behaviors can lead to greater engagement in the workplace, more ideas and higher productivity. Nigel Oseland is a sought-after international speaker, and author of several papers and books, including “Improving Office Productivity – A Practical Guide for Business and Facilities Managers”. Back in 2003 he set up the Workplace Trends series of conferences which grew into a must-attend event for workplace design and management professionals. In 2018 Workplace Trends expanded to Copenhagen and New York.
